Solved Domain Name Re-new Problem

Post by SVSBONTOC May 18th 2015, 1:13 pm

Good Day

I'm a founder of a forums using forumotion. I created the forums as an official page for our Alumni Association. I was not able to Re-new my domain name in time. I have the credits to re-new the domain name but un-able to do so. This is the second time i missed the renewal. Please do re-activate the domain name renew button for us if it is possible.  We from our school would like to stick with the domain name as much as possible.

Our Domain name: http://www.svsbontoc-alumni.org.

Thank you.

Solved Re: Domain Name Re-new Problem

Hello

The domain name will be renewed in few hours and the 1600 credits removed from your forum. For your information, we sent few emails for domain names expiration (60 days, 30 days, 7 days and 24hours before the final deadline) + a red warning message is displayed on the administrative panel.

I'll let you know when it is done.

Best regards

Buttercup

EDIT: it is done :rose:

Quick question, and I'm sorry to impose here, but it's better than making a new topic:
if I act right after the 60 days warning and renew the domain, does it start the new year immediately, or only after the 60 days have expired? Meaning, do I lose 2 months of my first year into the second? Or does the renewal follow naturally?
If the first case is likely, then am I supposed to only renew the domain year thing in the 24 hours before the deadline for minimum loss?

Thanks a lot

Hi,

I've bought domains names through FM and I can safely tell you that if you buy your domain through FM at the two month warning part then your time is added on so you'd have 365 days + whatever time you've got left.
