Solved Navbar Appearance.

Post by Ace 1 on May 13th 2015, 5:53 pm

Hey forumotion peoples I'm tryna get my navbar to look sexy Neutral Very good guitar banana

forum url: http://genocideclan.forumotion.com/
style: phpbb3

Yeah basically, I want to remove some the navigation links, such as the FAQQ and Calendar. And does anyone know how I can edit the Register page? I ended up just thinking about making an HTML register page and then deleting the first register page, but I would rather have the register url to just be /register, not /h2-register. Anyone understand?

Good Evning @Ace 1

Answer to removing Nav bar links:
ACP Display Homepage

  • Headers & Navigation click the Edit next to the ones you want to remove you will then get a page come up a little like this

Un-Tick all the boxes that apply to you then SAVE

Do the same to all the other ones you no longer want and SAVE

Answer to removing Text From The Register page :
Sorry to Edit this part of the site will Violate our TOS and there for you will end up having your forum closed down or deleted.

@APE

Two Things.

1 -I'm disabled from being allowed to uncheck any of the boxes in the NavLinks that came with the forum (http://prntscr.com/74xn6c) and I am the main Administrator.

2 - I want my forum's register page to be like that ofBiohazard Gamingbecause their page is edited and the URL is just /register which shows that they just edited the original Register Page.

You can only add to the registration page:

AP > General > Add Rules/FAQ > Add Rules

But how do I remove the NavBar links such as FAQ and Register and others?

It won't let me uncheck them.

@Ace 1 you can also go to the following but note the Register button can not be removed unless you add it as a image then you can hide it here
ACP Display Pictures and Colors Pics management Advanced Mode next to the names of what you want to remove look for "See examples" click that and a box will come up tick the Hide Box and SAVE

Lel I tried that but it then the change-color-when-you-hover-over-the-text coding I use doesn't work and the NavBar only shows custom NavLinks, and there's a box around them.

So when I do that, it looks something like this:

Spoiler:
Website Register

but there are boxes around them. Every NavLink that came with the forum is gone.

Nvm I figured it out using CSS.

Code:
a[href*="calendar"] {
 display: none !important;
}

^ that also works with the other headers.
