Html Page Redirect

I was searching through the forum but could not find an answer to my query. I was wondering, is it possible to make a HTML page your home page for a forum, then have a link on the Html page back to the main forum page?

Because I have created a html page but when ever I try go back to the forum homepage (not a specific topic or category) it redirects me back to my Html homepage. Sorry if this seems trivial, or can't be done.

MAke sure your link goes to /forum on your website. 

so: www.yourlink.com/forum

Hi Mike, thanks for responding. I do have a /forum url in my a href code. But it still just redirects back to my html page for some reason. Which is what i cant work out

Hi Gray, thanks for the link. Although I just figured out the problem was with my browser. Tested the html page on Google Chrome and worked perfectly. Thank you and Mike for the input tho .
