Solved The New Staff Post Color

Post by Shelby™ on June 4th 2015, 2:25 am

Hi,
I noticed the new reply/post color that the Forumotion staff has and I wanted too, but the codes I found doesn't worked. The only code that worked is the one that put watermark image in staff posts, but I want simply color, seperated color for each staff member if possible. Is there any official tutorial for it?

http://help.forumotion.com/t140441-staff-posting-color

Tried this and 1-2 more posts, but none of them worked.

Thanks in advance.

P.S.: I have phpbb3 forum.

Hello,
This background picture is in javascript code because it uses a gradient background. I dont know if you can make it with just only code. You can find different gradient background images on internet and substitute the javascript image on part of code background: url("URL").

Well try this CSS code

Code:

    .post.online.st-answer {
    background: url("http://www.bipnational.net/Portals/_default/Skins/Minimalist-BioBlue-Gradient/backgrounds/Black/10_image.jpg") repeat-y scroll left top, url("http://illiweb.com/fa/prosilver/icon_user_online_en.png") no-repeat scroll right top #E5F1F9;
    }
    .post.st-answer {
    background: url("http://www.bipnational.net/Portals/_default/Skins/Minimalist-BioBlue-Gradient/backgrounds/Black/10_image.jpg") repeat-y scroll left top #E5F1F9;
    }

I cannot see the javascript on your forum? What is your forum url?

Well, it works with your picture, but not with mine... And I have a (yet) private forum where I wanted to add it. Does it matter where I get the picture link from? Because Iused servimg.

Nevermind! I uploaded the picture to a different site, and now it works perfectly. Thanks for the help!
