Solved Fancy Group and User Colors

Post by AlexxRPGHITSKINS on June 8th 2015, 7:09 pm

First topic message reminder :

Okay, so I realize there is a section to this site that explains how to add glows to groups and usernames but I am talking about doing something like this:

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

This works, but now when I try to add an icon directly right next to it, it won't work.

Depending where the icon is going ( I'm assuming left ) you would add it to one of the ::before or ::after rules, or even both. You'd want to use background of course, just an example :
Code:
a[href="/g387-forumotion-administrators"] { font-size:0 }

a[href="/g387-forumotion-administrators"]:before {
  content:"Forumotion";
  font-size:11px;
  color:#F60;
  background: url("http://illiweb.com/fa/admin/couronne.png") no-repeat;
  padding-left: 19px;
  padding-top: 2px;
}

a[href="/g387-forumotion-administrators"]:after {
  content:" Administrators";
  font-size:11px;
  color:#F93;
}

Not working

Code:
a[href="/g13-staff"]:before {
  content:"-Staff";
  font-size:11px;
  color:#000000;
  text-shadow:0 0 1px #313132;
  background: url("http://illiweb.com/fa/admin/couronne.png") no-repeat;
  padding-left: 19px;
  padding-top: 2px;
}

a[href="/g13-staff"]:after {
  content:" Members-";
  font-size:11px;
  color:#000000;
  text-shadow:0 0 1px #313132;
}

This is what it looks like when used

I am trying to get rid of the middle "-Staff-"

Oh, make sure you set the font size to 0 for the default texts.
Code:
a[href="/g13-staff"] { font-size:0 }

If it's not changing, try adding !important.
Code:
a[href="/g13-staff"] { font-size:0 !important }

Hmm.. that should have worked. Try adding the current rules you're working with to the top of your stylesheet, because an error might be causing it not to work.
