PM Box Storage Empty PM Box Storage

Post by Derri June 7th 2015, 7:10 pm

I was wondering if Forumotion ever thought about increasing PM Storage? Possibly doing it via Credits e.g. Paying 'X' amount of credits will give you the ability to store 'blah' amount of PMs.

Having only 50 in your inbox and 50 in your save box isn't much so it would be nice to see a way of increasing PM storage. While encouraging founders to buy credits which ultimately means more revenue for FM.

I'm with you here Derri it would be nice to have away to get more space in your pm system.

I think admin's should have way more then the members as we need to save stuff for a later date i use my Save box for passwords saved for the staff that use the Email system on the forum.

each member has a password they send me so i keep it there.

and on here i use it for links and codes i may have got from someone else.

Yeah,

I get up to 15-20 PMs on weekdays from members and chatting to staff so my PM Box doesn't last more than two days really.

So a way to increase PM Box storage would be cool.

Hello @Derri

I perfectly agree with you and to be honest it is not the first time we request it... But for the moment, no change ;(

I have a question:  if you have more than 50 pm's that you have sent, does the ones that go over 50 still get sent?  I noticed one time on my forum when I sent a pm to a group that had 60 members, that the sentbox did not have all the pm's, but when members read the pm's the 10 would appear.

Is that using the mass group PM function?

I believe it was a mass pm to a group.
