Removed post before removing topic??

Good morning,

I am a little confused under pressure this is probably a very easy fix but very busy right now, I removed a forum post without removing the topic in it and now the topic is still there and I can not removed it? 

Make sense?

 I do not understand like I have a Category titled "meet the team" then I had three forums after that so I removed the messages because I needed to switch something around, now wen I go to add the new forum topics per say hope I am wording this right, the topics are still there I can not remove them in the admin since they are topics not categorties or forum?

Hope this is understandable?

I do not see Mod tools etc

You can not moderate topics in the administration panel.  You have to use the mod tools.

HI that's the thing I have the Category as meet the team and then I have a topic and I deleted the post but can not delete the topic?

There are no Mod tools if there is no post correct? It is just sitting there I hope I am explaining this right, I have no idea what I did I just deleted the post before the topic and can not see where to remove the topic?

Hello Jan,

If you scroll down on the topic, you will see in the permissions 'You CAN moderate this forum', click the link on the 'moderate this forum part'. This will take you take you to the moderation panel where the topic can then be deleted.
