Solved Empty my Gallery

Post by jmitschell on July 2nd 2015, 2:28 am

I am a new admin and I wanted to change the graphics and buttons on my forum. I was able to upload the new images and they were placed in my Root gallery. From there I was able to transfer them to the forum successfully. However I now have many excess images in that gallery that I do not want and would like to empty it. How do I delete them?

By logging into https://servimg.com/ and deleting the image.

Thanks Gray that helped, but did generate a new question.

When I went to the root gallery at servimg I noticed that there were pics that I had put in as a member, but none that I had uploaded as an admin. The place that I uploaded all my new graphics to was apparently the root gallery of the ex- admin. (I noticed that there were pics there that he had uploaded)

I took over as an admin but the admin panel still thinks it is him. How can I change that? I want to be able to upload new graphics to my gallery not his.

To log into the founder account on Servimg, you have to know founder account information. You will need to contact the original founder.

Thanks once again Gray. I was able to contact the founder of the club. He was not aware that this site even existed and certainly did not know that all of his (and the club's) images were being saved there.

It still brings up the question, How do we change it? If I am the new admin (because he wants to retire) how can I make my account at servimg become the new default account for the club?

My original problem is solved as he shared his password with me and I was able to access his account and delete the images. But I would still prefer not to have to bother him, every time I want to make a change.

Hey Gray - Now I have a new problem. Right after I changed the image host address and saved it. Now I can't seem to access servimg.com any more. And the host image option only returns some sort of Maintenance message. Does this mean I did something wrong? Or is just their site has gone down? Can I expect this to resolve itself soon?
