is there a way to make cretian Email able to register only
is there a way to make cretian Email able to register only
for Example i would like to allow mail.com and yahoo.com
so if user tried to add any Email not as one of the 2 above like Hot mail or any other Email not yahoo nor mail the register button will be disabled and tell user to change Email or he wont be able to register to prevent fake Emails from registering
sorry for asking weird things but that what i recently been asked for the most weird questions but i don not ask for all questions that sent to me there is more weird that even I can not understand how to ask them
thanks again

As far as I know, there's no such option.
The only thing to prevent users to register with fake mails is to go to: Admin panel -> Users&Groups -> Users options -> New accounts activation: and set it to "Users" (meaning they will have to confirm their accounts via email they entered) or set it to "Admin" and you'll have to activate their accounts via admin panel (in this case you'll be able to check their email and to see if it's fake or not)

Hello Micheal,
I do not believe there is an option to only registeration from specific email domains, however, I do know you can forbid or ban specific email domains from being able to register. Not the same, but similar and of course more painstaking.

Re: is there a way to make cretian Email able to register only
my idea was depends on a Script i saw that disallow Registering with numbers so if was the same way to allow some chracters in Email field instead of username so it would be use as the Email service i wanted to use instead of make a full list of banning Emails
that was my idea
that was my idea
- Code:
location.pathname=="/register" && location.search=="?agreed=true&step=2" && $(function(){
var username_format = /^[^0-9]*$/;
var format_notice = "numbers is not allowed";
var f = $('form[action=""][method="post"]');
var p = $('#username_reg');
var i = $('<span id="username_issue" />').html('<br/>'+format_notice).css({ "color":"red", "font-style":"italic", "display":"none"}).appendTo(p.parent());
var u = function() {
if (username_format.test(p.val())) i.hide();
else {
i.show();
return false;
}
};
p.on('change keyup', function(){ u() });
$('input[type="reset"]', f).click(function(){ u() });
$('input[type="submit"]', f).click(u);
u();
});
