Solved Change Width on Specific Page

Post by Guest on August 26th 2015, 5:47 pm

Hi,

I have removed parts of the category columns on my index page (views, posts, last posts) by using this thread. When clicking a category, these columns re-appear in the forum headers, which is perfect and exactly what I wanted. However, the category description fields on the index page still keep the old width. The selector in question is this:

Code:
#wrap
ul.topiclist dd.dterm, ul.topiclist dt {
width: 60%}

If I change this on the CSS stylesheet, it works on the home page, but the code extends to each page, where the other columns are still active and it screws up the appearance. I have tried to make the width fluid, but it does not work well on the forum pages.

Is there a way to change this value exclusively in the CSS or in the index page in the templates, if so, what is the corresponding code? Thanks for the help!

I checked that thread, that is indeed the same issue.
I followed the steps and my CSS code was this:
Code:
#index-forum ul.topiclist dd.dterm, ul.topiclist dt {
width: 100%}
It works perfectly. I will try to remember that tagging system for the future. Thanks a lot for the help!
