Solved Countdown as a widget

Post by troyeccles on August 28th 2015, 5:03 pm

Hello

I have widgets in column 3 and I'd like to add a countdown timer.
I have the HTML code from another site (see below...it has the colors, time zone, time, etc) but I've absolutely no clue at all how to add this to my other widgets in column 3.

Any help gratefully received.

Troy.

Depends on where you want the widget, on the forum or on the portal page?

Go to your Administration panel > Modules > Portals & Widgets

Then choose either Portal management or Forum widgets management, depending on where you want your widget to be.
Once you're there find the 'Create a widget' button. Then simply fill in the fields and under 'Widget source' paste your HTML code and click save. Once you've done that, go back to widgets management and click on the 'Personal widget' tab. Then find your new widget, drag it in the third column and hit save.

And you're done Smile

Many thanks! Works perfectly. I was trying to click on the new widget as it can't be dragged on an iPad.
