I was wondering if there was away to just upload webpages with folders and graphics.

Like i can build my own webpages in notepad++ or dreamweaver and i wanted to know if there was a way to filezilla them into my website or how does one incorporate there built webpages with the images and styles sheet into there forum ?

There isn't such a way.

You'll have to upload your images to online hosts and use links in your code.

As far as I know, Forumotion doesn't have any public FTP. You'll have to copy the HTML document into the HTML page. As for the sources you include in those pages, you'll need to host them on your own server. Typically, scripts, extra styles, etc.. For images, you can use the image host provided in the forum, but if you want complete control it's best to use your own server.

It really depends on the content you're adding to the page. CSS you can add directly in the document using an inline style tag. JS can go into JS codes management ( Modules > JS codes management ) with no placements, then you can just copy the source URL. Images, as I mentioned you can use the forum image host.

Were you going to add anything else, other than what I mentioned above ?

What i was thinking of doing and looking in doing was adding a new homepage with somesort of news feed and a few other pages linking to my youtube twitter and other social networks or add it all to one page if possible kind of like a base of operations while keeping the actualy forum part intact so members can communicate etc

Hope that made somesort of sence if not ill try to go more indepth!

You just described the portal and its widgets...

Go to AP > modules > Portal management

and enable the portal. There are many pre-made widgets, you can even make custom ones.

You can add HTML to the homepage message if you have HTML activated for the forum.
