Solved Bug in my forum?

Post by marvin89 September 8th 2015, 3:22 am

First topic message reminder :

When I bring my forum up http://notsomsn4.forumotion.com/ two boxes appear on the upper left corner of the screen. One is a partial Kohls ad and under it is a funky log in that has been chopped up with the rest cut off under it leaving the rest of the screen white below it.
The initial correct page will show at first and in a second or two it does as described above.
So how do we straighten things out so the bug is gone please. Thank you!

SL Gray you wrote above "I do not see that.

You might want to run different scans of your device."

I posted the screenshot directly above your reply as noted to you and it is right here on this page! I am looking at it.

Are you saying it is not there?

When I visit your forum, I do not see that red message.  Your forum to me does not look like what you have in the screenshot.

That's part of a ad. Do you see under the address the 2 bars when there should only be one (where page safety tools etc. is).

Like I said, I do not see anything wrong with your forum.  Because of this, the issue most be on your side.  Is any other member complaining about this?

I've checked your forum and there is nothing wrong for me. I think the ads is coming from your computer.

I have also looked at your forum and I see no ad's out of place as Buttercup has said run a scan on your computer and see if you have any problems.

I find using Spybot is a good tool if you don't have any real anti-virus on your computer.

and run windows defender to Wink
