[Only Topic] Chatbox not refreshing

Description of problem

Earlier today the chatbox completely stopped autorefreshing. Even messages you enter yourself no longer show up until you manually refresh the page. Its getting to be a tad annoying.

Edit: Forgot to mention we're also getting multiple timeout messages when someone times out. It started at three, then was six for a while, and just now someone timed out and there were fourteen timeout messages.

We have exactly the same problem, but only on one of my two forums - the one in my profile. It started yesterday, too. What's going on?

Problem still happening today, getting to be a real problem.

I will make this an only topic to see if it is a global issue.

Problem still going on.

Edit: it started working normally for ~10 minutes but then went back to not working.

A few hours ago on my forum it got better for a moment; I would say... Maybe for thirty minutes or a little less. Then it stopped refreshing again and we still have that problem with multiple messages about disconnection showing up for every user. At times it looks like it's getting a bit better, but I'm not sure if it's true - perhaps for a few minutes, but maybe not.

Edit:
It seems to be working right now.

Chat has been back to working most of the day.

We just recieved an update from the techicians, the problem was a server problem, the techicians worked on the problem and it should now be fixed. All should be back to normal with it now .

If the problems continue, please let us know!

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies and/or your forum cookies and see if the problem still persists afterward?

Yes I've already tried that and the problem is still there. I've also checked with fellow members and they are saying they have the same problem.  Also the codes to customize my chatbox aren't working.  I'll make another thread if that problem can't be solved here.
