I do not know why, but the attacks reminded me of this song:

I do not know if this news has reach the world yet.  There has been a mass shooting yesterday in San Bernardino, California.  At a center that help disabled people.  14 dead and 2 of the suspects are dead.

It is not known why the suspects did this act.

Terrorist Attacks - Page 2 Empty Re: Terrorist Attacks

Post by Yhuzan December 5th 2015, 6:10 am

Unfortunately, stricter gun control is being proposed as the solution. The bad guys were in active violation of numerous California state laws regarding firearms acquisition, modification, and usage. The only thing that stricter gun laws will cause is more innocents being unable to defend themselves in the future. The bad guys always have, and always will, use guns in illegal fashions and/or acquire them illegally. What stops bad guys is good guys shooting back at them.

Truly a sad series of events. Down with ISIS.

It causes more innocent people to be killed.  If someone with a gun saw a person running toward them, they would shot first before asking questions.  If everyone has a gun, there will be people taking the law in their own hands.

In the UK where I studied abroad for a semester at Cambridge, firearms are illegal except in the most exclusive of cases. During my time there, I heard so many stories of stabbings and knife violence it's ridiculous. Evil will always find a way and bad people will seek alternatives.

Yeah I think it's really the culture that's the issue and not the guns themselves. That's just me though.

Post by Guest March 22nd 2016, 7:18 pm

It's an appalling act of terror, again. My thoughts are with the victim's families and friends.

So, what's next on their list? Amsterdam? I certainly hope not. It's getting terribly close now. Today a railway station right next door got closed because of a possible bomb treath. I'm not going to live in a world of fear, but Paris and Brussels got me concerned.

Bullets and bombs will never get democracy down on it's knees!

It's another terrible tragedy. Unfortunately as long as the involved organization continues to exist, tragedies like this will continue to happen ; that's an undeniable truth. The only thing that can be done is to take precautions, and hope that another outcome like this one can be prevented in the future.. The victims have my sympathy.

Post by SLGray March 23rd 2016, 7:02 pm

People need to understand terrorism has been around for many years.  It is not something new.  There were many terrorist attacks in the 1970's.   When Great Britain controlled all Ireland, there was terrorism.  My post is not trying to belittle the situation now, but to show that terrorism is not new.

I can't believe what some humans can do. I'm not an angry person, but they just make me... The world is corrupt. We are extremely lucky to be unaffected, and some people complain about stupid little things. I just hope that eventually the world will be a better place.
