Solved Can you control guest's seeing ads on a Paid forum?

Post by CharRose15 on November 16th 2015, 8:31 pm

Technical Details

Forum version : #phpBB3
Position : Administrator
Concerned browser(s) : Google Chrome
Who the problem concerns : A few members
Forum link : http://tagemporium.forumotion.com/forum

Description of problem

Our forum is paid for so we do not see ads. However, guests do see ads. Normally this would not bother me. One of our members however is having issues getting in because her Norton anti virus throws a fit when she is signing in. Once she signs in she is fine it is just getting to that point.

This is what Norton tells her it found Angler Exploit Kit Website 6 High alert attack

Hello again,

Go to PA-Misc-Spend credits :
In order to hide ads for guests, registered users and admins you have to buy one of these options(which seem to be more expensive than the first option):
Code:

Members and anonymous

You can choose below, the additional time during which ads will be disabled for your members and your guests.

Add 1 month(s) : 200 Credits
Add 2 month(s) : 400 Credits
Add 3 month(s) : 600 Credits
Add 6 month(s) : 1000 Credits
Add 12 month(s) : 2000 Credits

Solved Guest viewing Paid add

Post by PatricaChilders on November 24th 2015, 7:00 am

The forum hold number of active users and the just guest users. If the administrator set the forum to hold only the active user view the paid services add forums is a possibility. Bu I never think that this will make any problem to the add and the forum. If you need some any experts ideal report please consider the top writers from online for that you can choose the top essay writing services provider.

Can you please ask the member what ads are getting blocked on He's / Her Norton anti virus ?
and is this all the time.

It could be that it is not an add and it could be your forum so i would ask you to get the member to add your site/ Forum to the safe list on there Norton anti virus.

This should solve the problem if it is your forum and not the Ads.

This may help a little too
