Rules on role plays for forums created by forumotion?

Hi, I just joined a site that was created using forumotion after my old site shut down due to lack of fund. The reason why I am posting this is just that I would like to clarify a few things. The site that was shut down was a role playing site comprised mostly of older teens and young adults. After the new site was created we realized that forumotion has rules against illegal acts, including those done in role plays. Now for a site full of refugees from a another site who's main characters often consist of many warrior, assassin, thieves and the like does this mean that we cannot use the forumotion site to continue our role plays? If so is there any other options or forum sites anyone here can recommend?

Also just to clarify, the old site we used also had rules regulating things like graphic scenes and involved romance. So this would be something we would continue to any other site.

I guess I will just bump this for now and hope someone replies

You can read the full the terms of use here: https://www.forumotion.com/terms-of-service . For the most part, try to stick to this rule of thumb: Could a 10 year old safely visit your forum? Try to keep all content child friendly and you should be fine.

I will just add to the very good advice that brandon_g has already gave.

We do not allow anything to do with sex or of a Sexual Nature your forum will be banned
we also do not let any spanking that can be seen as a part of bullying or harming some one.

If you are not sure about some thing you can always PM me and i will follow it up with other staff members before you add it to your site.
