How Do I Delete A Forum

I have 2 forums and both are the same (identical) except the address as you see.

The one I would like to keep is http://notsomsn4.forumotion.com/

The one I would like to delete is http://notsomsn4.forumotion.com/f1-your-money-more-the-msn-refugee-board-the-decoy-409-post

And what does 'Forum is Locked' mean and do I need to unlock it?

Hello,

If you are the founder, then you can delete the forum by going to ACP-->General-->Forum-->Delete forum-->DELETE

A locked forum means that regular members will not be able to make new topics or posts, moderators and admins will still be able to though. To unlock a forum, simply go to ACP-->General-->Categories and forums-->Hit the little gear icon (modify) next to the said forum, when the modification page loads, you should see a drop down box with 'Locked' and 'Unlocked' , select unlocked and hit save.

When you delete the forum, you need to stay logged into your administration panel when you check your email for the deletion link.

Oh, maybe I misunderstood. Are you trying to delete a forum (meaning a section) from your forum. Your not trying to delete the forum (meaning the site itself) itself. Is that correct?

You mean to delete a forum as in a section then. Yes if delete one, the other will still be there and all its topics as well. You shod delete it in ACP (Admin panel)-->General-->Categories and forums--> hit the red 'x' next to the section you wish to delete.

If you do a search for the 'msn refugee board' or 'the decoy 409 post' or 'decoy 409'

2 forums come up under 'forumotion' for my forum. I do not need a duplicate forum running. I wish to delete the duplicate forum as to one of the links I supplied above.

How do I delete the duplicate forum so both do not delete. Not a topic in a forum the whole forum.

Wait a minute, do you have two forums?  If you delete one forum, it will not delete the other one.  Do both forums have a different link?
