After you added them, were you viewing the site from a computer or a mobile device? The snow will not work on mobile devices, only on computers.

Add this at the beginning of your index_body, if you want it only on the Index page.But if you want to use it in all pages, then you can add it on your overall_footer_begin for example.

You have probably an error in one of the scripts. Try finding wich one is the corrupted one by turning them one by one off till it works. Then you know to which script you have to look.
