What is the litigation process and how is it handled?
Hello. I was concerned, as a user has filed two litigations against me despite me taking action and removing the content posted about them.
At this point, I am basically wondering what to expect. Will I be notified of any action being taken against me or not? Can my forum be removed even though I have removed all content in question?
Thanks.

Hello,
When a litigation report is made, a copy of the report is sent to both forumotion and you (the administrator(s) of the site). It can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for them to get around to the report (because of the sheer amount of reports they get and how busy theu are). Once the litigation team has viewed the report, they will review your forum to ensure all it's contents are in compliance with the forumotion TOS, if it is, no action will be taken. If it is not, then the litigation team will take whatever action it deems fit, if it is minor then they might issue a warning with a countdown, your forum must be in compliance by the time that countdown ends or they will delete the forum. If it is serious (usually like porn or something like that) they will delete the forum immediatelly with no warning.
Bottom line is: If you took all the approriate action to deal the problem and deleted all the violating content, then you should have nothing to worry about. The litigation team will review your forum and if it checks out, then nothing will happen, they will just close the case and move on to their next one.
I hope this explaination helps you better understand how the litigation process works.
