Description of problem

Hi, I was on my forum earlier with no issues, but after checking it just now, some issues seem to be occurring. For example, we had a lot of users with winter themed usernames that then switched back to their original names. Their winter names are now back for some reason. It says for a lot of users that they haven't been on since like December when they most certainly have. A lot of posts seem to not be there, I don't think they're actually missing though. Not sure what's going on.

Try this:

AP > General > Forum > Configuration
Scroll to the bottom of the page and resyn your forum.

Just out of curiosity, did you perform a forum restore via the founder utilities? The only reaon I ask is because what you describe above, does sound like something that happens after a forum restore.

I definitely didn't unless it was something I pressed by accident. (but I don't think it would be)

Just to make sure everything is safe, if I resync the forum nothing will be lost, correct? I'm just really protective and want to make sure everything is kept.

It just tries to remove any glitches on your forum.

I tried it and nothing seems to have been fixed.

Most of them were. But they're not completely missing, if I click on the board they'll show up, but for example one of the boards says the most recent post in said board was in October, when it was actually a couple of days ago, and shows a post from October instead. So I'm still sort of able to access the threads and posts but they're not showing up as they should.

Try this:  clear your browser's history and cache.

Oh I forgot to mention that I accidentally put personal issue, it's for all members, I'm sorry. I'll try it but obviously don't think it'll help considering it's just my browser.

Sounds to me that your forum is in a time laps with our database.

As you know it is the weekend and our head office is closed at weekends so there is only tech staff on call to server side when the system is down.

We can report this to our head office but it maybe no later then monday French time for us to get any reply to this problem.

I will just ask you to do one thing before i make the report,

Can you please follow this step and see if you still have the same problem.

Make a test account and try and see if the posts are the same when you look at them.
if they do then i will file a system report please also post a screen shot of the problem step by step of what you see.

This will help us see what you see when we file the report to the head office

We had a synchronization issue. Unfortunately, we can't roll back but we have worked to make sure this type of error does not happen again.
