Solved Group options in a NEW PM

Post by rocket2300 on January 10th 2016, 6:38 pm

Hi folks,

Is it at all possible to make it so that when one of my committee members sends a NEW PM
that they have the same options as Admin (myself) when wanting to send a message to a group.

This is what I get when sending a NEW pm.

As you can see from the drop down menu I can post a PM to every group on the forum, but
my Committee members only get "Moderators" and "friends". I would like them to have the
same options as myself, but obviously I wouldn't want to give them all "Admin status" just so
that they can get the options.

So is there a way around this ?.

My forum is www.suzuki-intruder.org
and im using PhpBB3

Easy, just go to your admin panel and go to the groups and select "Members" for sending messages in bulk.

Is your committee members marked down as Admin/ Mods ?
if yes then they should see Admin's on there PM system.

LOL the other way is to set your committee members as Group and then set a face account up as Admin's and Hide it then set that to groups to then anyone in the groups setting will see the face admin account to..
It works i just tested it Wink that way plain members can not PM all the Admins in one go

This stops all members from spamming your Admins

Topic solved and archived
