Solved Online Guardian

Hi there, a member of my forum is unable to log into the forum, as it has been blocked by online guardian. Included is a screenshot of the message she receives.

Hello,

This means your site was banned by forumotion for breaking the TOS. Is it only 1 user experencing this? Can you still access the site?


Edit: I see it is a different message then usual.

May you please provide me with this info via pm:

-The user's username
-The user's e-mail address
-Link to the users profile

I believe a pro admin may be require to fix this, so if you give me this information, I will make a request Wink.

Hello @Tinkler Hello

The problem comes from our servers.
He / She is banned from our servers He or she was Blacklisted for one of the following reasons.
The member has tried to log in lots of times,
They have been banned from more then 10 sites
There Ip address was reported to Google or other browser's for spam.

Please PM me the following :
IP address of the member,
Email address of the user,
Username user is using on your forum,
Where in the world this member is,
Your forum address.

For the members IP address they can use this site >> http://whatismyipaddress.com/
or you ca click on the members posts in your forum and look up the IP address they have used.
Note: if the member has more then one address please PM me the most used ones.

I will then send this on to my Pro admin for the Ip and Email address to be removed from our servers

Hello @Tinkler Just to let you know

I have had word back from the office and your member's account should now be unbanned from our servers.

This was not a Ip ban but the name of the member was on the black list This could be down to a number of things.

Most of the time the names get used so much and the name gets put on the ban list.

Your member may have to clear her browser cache but there shoud now be No problem.

Please let me know before i Close the thread

Solved Another Online Guardian Issue...

We have a user experiencing what looks exactly like the ban/block from ONLINE GUARDIAN as described in the thread below.

I'm officially fixed.
