Hello,

Do you mean a post gradient? If so, is your forum phpbb2?

The codes in this topic should help you achieve what you want, just replace fthe image urls with the ones you want. I know they work, as they work on my forum, which is also phpbb2 Smile.

What do you mean it is not working? Where did you place them? One of those is a css code, the other is a javascript. There are clear, specific instructions on the installation of the code in that topic. Note: make sure you use the css codes near the bottom of the topic, as the ones on the top were for phpbb3, the ones near the bottom phpbb2.

What is the url to your forum as well?

As I said, I use these precise codes on my forum for gradients and it does work.

You still didn't answer some of my questions, where did you place each code? The javascript should go in ACP (Admin panel)-->Modules-->Javascript management (make sure javascript management is turn on)-->Create new javascript .

The css code you shoul use is the one towards the bottom, this should placed in ACP-->Display-->Colors-->CSS Stylesheet (make sure css is turned on).

The final css code was this one:
Code:
.post.staff-post td { background:none }
.post.staff-post { background:url(http://i39.servimg.com/u/f39/18/21/41/30/f6011.png) no-repeat left bottom / 100% 100% #1d1d1d }

If you have a specific image you want as the background, you should replace the url after { background:url( image url here) with the url to the one you want. Very Happy.

You will need to find some or else request some in our graphic design section. That is what I had to do. Just go make a request for gradient, then when one is made, simply replace the image url in the code to the one of that image Very Happy.

Please do not double post, your posts must be seperated by 24 hours.
Please use the edit button instead.

The topic I linked you to also contains css for phpbb3. That css code is the one that is listed in the same post as the javascript. The javascript should also work for phpbb3. Wink

It does not really matter where you add it. You can add it to the top or the bottom, it should work the same regardless of its placement in the css stylesheet. Smile

You should 'Optimize custom css' set to 'Yes' or else no css will work. Wink

I gave you the right css code and the javascript should work for both. If you read the topic I linked you to, where Ange Tuteur gave me the javascript and css codes, he said they were for phpbb3 .
