Do you mean the page that you have to agree or disagree with? You can not edit or hide that page. You can only add your own rules to the page.

I do not see anything on that page that has been edited. What exactly are you wanting to do?

I don't think it's possible that you can skip that page. If you register on a forum of some sort you'll have to agree with their terms and services. That's basically what that pages makes you do, it makes you agree (or disagree if you don't want to). Sometimes you'll have to check a box at the end of your registration, sometimes you get a page with text. It's an important step in registering anywhere, you can't skip it.

Hello,

Yes as KieKie said, there is no way to hide, skip or modify the default TOU without violating the Forumotion TOU.

Sorry Sad

Hello just to clear things up here

http://avacs.pforum.biz. This forum is breaking Not only the TOS of forumotion.com But also breaking the Law all around the world.

You must use that page so members know that it is a law and by saying ok to the rules laid out by the forum sites and by clicking i Agree is saying they agree to all our rights as a site to hold data on our servers.

My warning to us is remove that code making you go right to the New user page or your forum will be deleted without any other warning by me or any other staff of FM.

Thank you for removing that code the forum will be safe but make sure you ask about code to remove things before hosting them as rules may Apply to some things on our services.

If a staff member is not sure we will ask our head office.

If its put on our system and the word I agree is in place or a rule page then it will break our TOS if it is removed or changed without our consent.

You can not remove any of Forumotion's copyrights, branding, and legal information with coding.

Solved Re: How to hide registration rules in forum?

Post by APE on January 20th 2016, 7:54 pm

That page is made to make it clear to all your members that we hold Data on our servers and you as the Founder and your staff have the right to take any move as you wish to remove or edit the data open to the world on your forum.

By law we have to give that data on a page before you make an account.
That is why it has a I agree i Do not agree button.

If you remove that part of the new accounts setting you do not get to read what the rules are before making your new account.

All over the world on all sites we have the same thing. We understand it a page you would like to do without but its a page that is bound by Law so as FM is a world wide site and we are your host we have to add TOS to all of our sites and stick by the law.

Removing that data on your forum then opens you and us a new book and there for a member can say when he/ she made an account thet was not asked to read the rules of making an account and there for can make a claim against you and FM if data was leaked out or they got problems.

I hope that helps clear up your Question.
