Solved Circle Avatars for specific users.

Post by Dazo on January 22nd 2016, 7:24 am

So, what I want to do, is I want to try to take this beautiful CSS and try to make it user specific.
Code:
#main-content > div.post .postprofile dt a img, .postprofile dt > img:first-child {
  background:#382a2a;
  height:100px;
  width:100px;
  border-radius:100px;
  box-shadow:0 2px 3px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5), 0 -1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
  padding:3px;
}
I think I have to use
Code:
a[href="/u1"]
, but I dunno where. So help would be appreciated. BTW forum version is Phpbb3.

This code is to edit the avatar in the posts right? The first part when you are logged in and the second as guest?

I think it would be easier to sort on a certain image instead of sorting the link, because as guest there is no link. So try this code:

Code:
#main-content > div.post .postprofile dt a img[src="http://r12.imgfast.net/users/1213/31/81/74/avatars/1-87.png"], .postprofile dt > img[src="http://r12.imgfast.net/users/1213/31/81/74/avatars/1-87.png"]:first-child {
  background: #382a2a;
  height: 100px;
  width: 100px;
  border-radius: 100px;
  box-shadow :0 2px 3px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5), 0 -1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
  padding: 3px;
}

This really isn't what I am looking for. Ya know how like you can give someone a glow, or a name effect, or something like that? What I am trying is allowing those who want to have a circle avatar to have a circle avatar, and those that don't want to have a circle avatar to not have a circle avatar.

The problem is that as guests there is no link to the profile, so it won't be the same as when you logged in.

This code should work, but only for members. Guests won't see the rounded image:
Code:
#main-content > div.post .postprofile dt a[href="/u1"] img {
  background:#382a2a;
  height:100px;
  width:100px;
  border-radius:100px;
  box-shadow:0 2px 3px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5), 0 -1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
  padding:3px;
}

But isn't this much easier to edit the avatar and crop it in a circle?
