Ip ban problem

Try to ip ban a member when I click on add nothing happen the name didnt add

@musacafe Same here, hopefully we don't get attacked by spambots right now because without this moderation feature they could really reek havok on our forum... Sad

Admin can only IP Ban.

I noticed that the IP ban was not working the last few days but it seems to be ok now.

If you have a problem with spam bots set it so new members need to be activated before they can post.

Users & groups > user options > New accounts actiavtion = Admin

How are you trying enter the ip address in the text field? Are trying manually type it, or are you trying to copy and paste it?

Do you get any sort of message when you try to add it (this can either be an error message or some other kind of message that appears)? If so, what does the message say?

May you also provide us with a screenshot of the problem/message (if any) as well as your forum url, so we can better assist you in resolving your problem?

When you IP ban an account, the username does not appear, just the IP address appears.

It's still not working for me, I know how to do it, but it doesn't ban the IP when you IP ban someone.

can you Please send me the Ip address you are trying to ban ?
Please do this by PM only

when making a Ip ban make sure it is like this
78.87.177.212

Do not try and ban an ip address like this 12 34 177 212 or

Also if you are copy and pasting a Ip address make sure you do not have any space on the start or end of the IP address or it will not save on the system

Other then that i have run a number of tests and found no problem with the IP ban system
