Have you checked the group permissions?

If you have the members box checked then all groups' boxes will also be checked.

Users & Groups is where I am talking about. I believe you have each individual group permissions checked for specific stuff, that's why you are unable to uncheck the boxes.

Hello,

Smurfavr, I think you mis understand how this system works. If you have either 'guests' or 'members' ticked in the top 2 rows, then EVERY group is automatically going to be ticked and you will be unable to untick them. This is because the system views members in groups as still members, that said, if you tick 'members' then all members and above (groups) will be able to do whatever permission it is.

I think you will find that, if you untick both 'guests' and 'members' in the top 2 rows, that you will be able to tick and untick all the groups now.

I hope this provides you better clarity on how this whole system works.

-Brandon
