Solved Error message when trying to change "messages" in the Navbar - bug?

Post by Soulmonster on April 9th 2016, 7:09 am

Hi all,

I have been trying to improve my Navbar recently but for some reason whenever I try to change the "You have no messages" part of the Navbar I get the following error message "You must provide a menu name".

I have tested it on my other forum an gets the same error there.

I am using phb3.

Hello,

Are you using the standard text based navbar or an image based navbar?

What is the url to your forum as well?

I am using the image based navbar. I was able to add images for every part of the navbar except the inbox.

You can add them for new pms and new no pms (pm inbox) as well. Just go to ACP (Admin panel)-->Display-->Pics Management (advanced)-->General/Explore-->'Private messages' , 'New private messages' put the url of the images in the boxes next to each one or upload it then paste in the url and hit 'save'. You can do this for pretty much every navbar button, whenever using an image based navbar, we highly recommend adding all the navbar buttons through this area of the ACP.
