My forum was deleted?

Hello

I Recently tried to login into my old forum which i worked from time to time for a future project, only to discover that it no longer exists. This is really weird because i certainly did not delete it. i did not violate the tos because my forum was literally empty! It had zero content in it (i was only working on the theme etc). I also checked my email and there's nothing to indicate that it was deleted.

I should let you know that i changed the address of the forum a couple of months back from http://blitzkrieg.forum-motion.com/ to projectdayz.forum-motion.com . For a little while both addresses would direct to my new forum 'projectdayz' but now the old address (blitzkrieg) directs to some entirely different forum that is not mine. Is it possible that my forum was deleted in order to pass the address to somebody else?

Message i get when i try to access it:

The forum projectdayz.forum-motion.com doesn't exist

Verify the internet address you typed : projectdayz.forum-motion.com,
and try again if there is a mistake.
It is possible that the administrator has chosen to delete it.

Here's where it gets really weirder. I tried to use the founders tools to maybe restore it, and my password and username/email don't work. I am at a loss, i had this forum for years without any problems and suddenly its gone without any explanation or reason. Again i am stressing that the forum was empty, there was zero content in it so it is technically impossible that i violated some rule.

I would appreciate some help...

Hello,

If a forum doesnt have atleast 3 posts and/ 3 users after 3 months, the system will automatically delete the forum. It does this in order to keep the number of inactive/empty forums on our system to a minium.

Since your forum had NOTHING on it, your forum was probably automatically deleted by the system, for this reason.

So i guess if a guest who spams on ur site will keep it from being deleted?

When was the last time you logged in?

The last time i logged in was probably a couple of months ago (cant remember exactly). It was probably deleted because of inactivity as some of you mentioned. I understand the reason but it would be nice if forumotion would send an email informing before deleting.

Oh well, i am gonna start it again some time in the future...
