Can't view images
I'm an admin at one group (http://taggerzhaven.forumotion.com/) but everyone else can view tags/images and I can't. I did update javascript/flash player and still cannot see tags/images. I'd have to go switch editor mode to be able to view the images/tags to save them.
and I use google chrome. i did try IE and Mozilla Firefox, same problem. I cannot see most of the smileys on right side too.
what's going on? i'm frustrated not being able to see the tags in this group. I have no problems in other groups I'm in.
This what page looks like when i go to that page - shows only words (wheres the image/tag?)
but when i click edit - it shows this
which shows the tag and words

Re: Can't view images
when i click on edit mode, i can see the images/tags but when i go to preview, it doesn't show the pics. i have to keep clicking on the switch editor mode in edit to be able to view the images. and the smileys on the right side is not showing images, just the code names.
Re: Can't view images
Is the page fully loaded when you check the preview?

Re: Can't view images
If it is still rotating then the page is not completely loaded yet.Kat4evr wrote:Yes i cleaned all the browser cache, cookies, even updated flash player and java script.

Re: Can't view images
yes it sounds like a speed problem on the site or your ISP give this one more thing a try
Reset your modem /Hub and at the same time close your computer down and restart.
Some bigger items can take a long time to show if your internet is slow at that time.
what i do is go in firefox and on the bottom left of the screen there is a small bar that shows with an address on
See screen shot:
see What site / item is taking its time and post the link here in a Code tag.
if your internet is slow at the time it will find it hard to find the items and slow things down.

Re: Can't view images
I did speed test and it shows
Download 27.95 mbps
Upload 4.86 mbps
Ping 60 ms
at bottom left on firefox it keeps saying
Connecting to 54.200.34.14..
Waiting for 54.200.34.14
I even checked on my phone at another location and still cannot see images/tags at that group.
My sister did an internet change from Comcast to Century Link last week.
its also says transferring data from paypal.com, illiweb.com waiting for r34.imgfast.net, etc

Re: Can't view images
What happens when you refresh the page that contains images?

As for the links that are taking the time to load
The ones that we can look in to is illiweb.com and r34.imgfast.net but i really don't see the problem from our end.

Re: Can't view images
Yeah very strange. I have no problem in other forumotions group I'm in, why just my main group? I'm working with Century Link DSL and they're sending someone out. apparently we're supposed to be getting 40 mbps but we're only getting 30 and where that 10 go so they will check their wires outside this week. They removed wifi from their router as we already have Belkin wifi. so after they removed the wifi from their router, i was able to view images/tags on my phone but still not on my computer. will check my sister's pc again if still same situation the other day. if can see pics/images then must be my computer problem. will find out and let ya know.
I did refresh page nothing changed on my computer. ugh

Re: Can't view images
can i ask if you have any java codes running in the following setting ?
ACP >> Modules tab >> HTML & JAVASCRIPT >> Javascript codes management >>
Enable Javascript code management : tick NO and then save the page and then see if you still have the problem (Don't worry none of your codes if set there will be lost this will just turn them off for a sec just to see if there is a problem there.
If the problem goes then its something there if its got no codes there then it dont matter we will have to see what else we can come up with.
or hold on for your ISP to come out and see what the problem is.

Re: Can't view images
Hello,
You could also clear the cache and cookies on your browser and clear the forum cookies on your main pc (if you havent already) and see if the images appear properly afterward.
Sometimes the browser might show you an older, cached, version of the page if the browser cache and cookies are full. It can do this even if you refresh or not.
Give this a try on your main computer and see if it helps.
