How to change the cookies bar information

Hello there,

Today i'll show you an easy way to change the cookies bar information to something more delicate and some information on how to style it based on your forum's appearance so it matches. So here we go.

CSS Code

Go to: Admin Panel > Display > Pictures and colors > Colors > CSS Stylesheet
and add this code in your sheet:
Code:
div#cookieChoiceInfo {
    position: fixed;
    width: 15%!important;
    left: 10px!important;
    bottom: 10px !important;
    border: 1px solid #080808!important;
    background: #101010!important;
    border-radius: 5px!important;
    box-shadow: 0px 0px 10px #000!important;
    line-height: 1.6!important;
}
div#cookieChoiceInfo a[href="/faq"] {
    display: block!important;
    background: #400!important;
  border-radius:5px!important;
}
a#cookieChoiceDismiss {
    background: #0A4003!important;
    display: block!important;
    padding: 5px!important;
    margin-top: 5px!important;
    border-radius: 5px!important;
    font-size: 13px!important;
}
and click Submit.

Modifications

  • Code:
    div#cookieChoiceInfo
    this is the element for the box if you check the image above.
    In that element as you can see there is the width, the left, the bottom, some border, border-radius, some shadow and a line height. You may change that to what you wish so that it matches your theme design.
  • Code:
    div#cookieChoiceInfo a[href="/faq"]
    this is the element for the "More Information" button visible to the after image above. In there you'll see some background color and some border-radius. You can also change those to whatever you like to match your theme design.
  • Lastly,
    Code:
    a#cookieChoiceDismiss
    this is the element for the "Ok" box that is visible with the green background color. Now i wanted them to be similar to understand what the guest is reading and what are his/her options. There are all the needed designing codes in that element where you can make it as you want to.

If you have any problems with these codes don't mind asking for our help!

Good luck and enjoy! Smile
