Categories and forums lost

Description of problem

Dear Forumotion support! The above mentioned page has just lost all its categories and forums. I wonder if this has happened due to activities of other forum administrators (or creators), or is it a technical kind of error? Is it possible to reset the forum to the state it has been before this disapperance? Thanks a lot in advance!

Since the forum is closed to guests, we can not see what the forum looks like. Could you please post a screenshot while you are logged in?

Here it is - the title says "news - The forum doesn't work" (is that a default message?) and the Information says "no forums".

Check here: Administration Panel > General > Forum > Categories & Forums

Hmm, it says there is a forum (called "news") with 12 topics. But it does not seem to be in a Category. Is this why it is not visible? By clicking the "+" sign, I can create a new Category and put this Forum there, I guess?
I just don't want to mess up anything and delete by accident!

WTF?!? I used the "+" button and added a new Forum, to be placed after "news", and now "news" is totally gone, all those 12 Topics with 8000+ invisible posts!

Please heeeeeelp me to restore! Sad

Hello as you are no the founder of the forum there is not a lot we can do to help you.

You need to ask the founder of the forum to post here and then we can get the founder to do a full backup on the system to get your forum back to how it was. Until thenow there is not a lot more we can do as we need the founders account

OK, thanks, I will do that!
From the logs it looks like another administrator deleted the stuff earlier.
But it also looks like you have a bug: your forum reports the already deleted topic and post counts (see my screenshot).

Not really, as it seems that there is a bug that caused my problem in the first place.
Turned out that another administrator deleted the forum a day earlier.
However, the numbers of topics and posts of the deleted forum were still visible the next day (see my screenshot).
Those numbers disappeared only after creating a new forum.
("news" was the renamed title of the forum).
You can see from my screenshot how it shows those numbers, with no belonging forum.
