Solved I need Help To Improve My Login Pop-up Design

Help Me Improve My Pop-Up Login Design

It seem to me that this "Forumotion" has way better design compare to my pop-up login. I'm asking for help on how to improve my design more similar as the "Forumotion" login pop-up. Thanks for reading, and if you know how to help or either give me the code for it, that would be very helpful.

New Image as show down at the bottom

Solved Re: I need Help To Improve My Login Pop-up Design

Post by Ange Tuteur on August 9th 2016, 4:31 pm

Hey,

I'd try to choose a smaller image or resize it with CSS, because it's overflowing the login popup container. As for the design similar to Forumotion, this is about as close as I can give you :

Go to Admin Panel > Display > Colors > CSS stylesheet

Paste the following CSS rules into your sheet and submit.
Code:
/* max height for images */
#login_popup_content img {
  max-height:500px;
}

/* button positions */
#login_popup_buttons { left:0; }
#login_popup_close { float:right; }
#login_popup_buttons input {
  color:#FFF;
  padding:6px !important;
}

If this is not what you're looking for, please be more specific on what you want. Wink

Hello @TheLa5tStandV8

Please Don't use the spoiler to head something if you need to make a heading for your text please use the H button The spoiler system is used to hide big screen shots and other large items like codes and things like that not to head your text

Oh My God, This Is Awesome!

This looks so much better than it was before. I don't know how this make sense at all lol. I look at the CSS Code that Ange Tuteur gave me and I'm like how did he know exactly what size to enlarge the login button. How is that possible? Help me understand what this code are saying...

Code:
/* max height for images */
#login_popup_content img {
  max-height:500px;
}

/* button positions */
#login_popup_buttons { left:0; }
#login_popup_close { float:right; }
#login_popup_buttons input {
  color:#FFF;
  padding:6px !important;
}

Solved Re: I need Help To Improve My Login Pop-up Design

Post by TheLa5tStandV8 on August 9th 2016, 8:09 pm

Correct me if I'm wrong, so when I see the code that represent
Code:
#login_popup_buttons { left:0; }
it means that both button login and register will be shown on the left side of the image screen, and the code that represent
Code:
#login_popup_close { float:right; }
will be shown on the right side of the image which is referred as do not display again to close down the login pop-up? If I'm correct then would it be possible if I code it to put the login and the do not display right into the center. Which is I would have to write it like this
Code:
#login_popup_buttons { center:0; }
and
Code:
#login_popup_close { float:center; }
I hope I pass this test so let me know if this is correct since I made a guest to change it to center.

rock Ok the Pop-up Login Design that I created look really good. I found some of these image off of google and decided to add my logo sign into the middle of the pop-up login. But as you can see in the image the "Login" and the "Register" button itself is a little too far close to the left side and the same goes for the "Do not display again". Can you guys give me the CSS code again and help make it more close to the center. Also help me hide the "Do not display again" button. I do not want to see that third button, I rather see "Login" and "Register" button only period. :wouhou:

Here the image of my new pop-up login design-

CSS Stylesheet:
Code:
login_popup_close {
      display:  none;
}
So you want the other buttons to be in the center at the bottom?

SLGRAY the code you gave me didn't work out too well. It refuse to take off the "Do not display again" and the button box appear to be really small.... pale

Here the code that SLGRAY gave me as I type it into the CSS and hit a preview. It failed by refusing to remove the "Do not display again"

SLGRAY the code you gave me was correct, however you accidently extended the display too far from none so I shorten the display close to the none and it works...... I had to code it like this Display:none instead of the one you gave me which was coded like this Display:_______none- see this right there is why the "Do not display again" wouldn't hide itself. So I fix it and it works but again I need help to move the login and register right into the red dot as show in the pic. I want them in the center since the code for /* button positions */ #login_popup_buttons { left:0; } appear to be on the left side. I tried to change left to center and it didn't work so there a trick to it and I need help with that please and thank you SLGRAY.

BlackScorpion Here the image for you to look closely what SLGRAY had given me the code. I already thank SLGRAY for the code but I was just pointing it out for him so he can fix the code next time before giving it to someone else. Here the image and you will understand my perspective. The reason why you saw the "Do not display again" that didn't appear on my forum it because I fixed it like I said before.

It because I code it like this- Here my code and paste that in your css to find out why. It a trick like I said lol Very Happy I have no idea bro but looking at that code in the css where is say "left" that probably why the login and the register is being place on the left side...

Code:
/* max height for images */
#login_popup_content img {
  max-height:500px;
}

/* button positions */
#login_popup_buttons { left:0; }
#login_popup_close { display:none; }
#login_popup_buttons input {

It put Login and Register to the left side so that 0 is there for a reason. I don't have a clue what happen if I change the 0 to 5. So Let me check in on that since I'm suspecting that "Left" need to be change to "center"

Ok that odd, I change the 0 to 5 and it move the Login and Register to the far right side. I then tried testing it to 1 instead of 5 and it stay at the same spot on the far right side. I change it back to 0 it move the Login and Register to the far left side. So there something really strange that I can't really describe why it refusing to be put in center. I'm thinking it gotta be the word "Left" that need to be change?

Pop-up Login Design has been fixed!

That what I'm talking about son. The problem has been fixed and it solved finally man.

Here the Image folks....

And here the code too by throwing a towel into it with alittle bit of mixture

Code:
/* max height for images */
#login_popup_content img {
  max-height:500px;
}

/* button positions */
#login_popup_buttons {float: left;
  margin-left: -50em;
  width: 50em;
  text-align: center;}
#login_popup_close { display:none; }
#login_popup_buttons input {
  color:#FFF;
  padding:6px !important;
}

I hope this code is helpful for everyone
