Conclusions

  • The first impression I received from your forum was how new it was. I could tell that it hadn't been completely developed, but it had a promising future as a community seems to be growing. A suggestion I have for you to gain more attention is with a banner. A banner really captures the aura you want your forum to have, and shows what a forum is about. A forum description can really aid with this, and will help guests and members understand what your forum will do for them. I'd like to see a pop-up message for guests in the future to help create that welcoming aspect. The appearance is basic, which does work for a partially service forum such as yours. However, I'd like to suggest creating a more custom theme in the future to make your forum unique and it's a great opportuity to showcase some of the computers your forum talks about through the presence of topic and forum icons. The forum has been open for nine days, so you seem to be doing nicely for a completely new forum. You have a decent amount of posts and members, and most of your topics have posts in them. The only thing I can suggest currently is to advertise, create contests and affiliate with other forums in order to gain the most members possible. The staff groups you have are relevant to your forum, but I'd like to suggest two things for this area. I'd personally like to see more detailed group descriptions so members know the jobs of each job. Also, I suggest recruiting some staff members to help you set up the forum. It will be a major aid in the final stage of creating the forum. Your forum's subject isn't very common, but you've managed to maintain your forum's unique quality by making topics quite detailed and offering different services. Other than this, the only thing I can suggest is altering your forum appearance to build more individuality. Great job here. Your layout is very nice, and everything is easy to navigate through. The widgets are very helpful and placed nicely. I'd personally like to see forum descriptions though, as these will explain the role of several forums. Additionally, many of the forums could become sub-forums, such as "Create a Part List for Me" and "Part List Opinions Wanted" under the one forum called "Part Lists." Your spelling was very good, and I couldn't find any mistakes.

Forum Strengths

  • Detail of topics.
  • Easy navigation.
  • Original activity.

Forum Weaknesses

  • Appearance.
  • Lack of banner.
  • Lack of forum and usergroup definitions.
