Solved Forum layout is messed up. Message areas are wider than set display limit, and avatars area is too big. So many problems..

Post by Patchy on September 28th 2016, 11:28 pm

Currently my forum's posting areas are much wider for no reason. Avatar boxes(the spot where avatar's go) are also very large for no reason. I'm not really sure what else to tell you, but I really need it to match the home page size and not be any wider...

Examples:

How wide it should be: http://aquacurrentsrp.foren-gratis.com/
The one that's set wrong: http://aquacurrentsrp.foren-gratis.com/t2911-taking-over-the-forum

CSS:

Code:

/* Normal, standard links. */
a:link {
color: #0099FF;
text-decoration: none;
}

a:visited {
color: #0099FF;
text-decoration: none;

a:hover {

}
/* Navigation links - for the link tree. */

Does this only occur in topics that have signatures or a certain signature? I believe the issue is that mages in the signatures are too big.

I don't see how it could be that. I deleted all the signatures and it is still there.

Edit: Centering images in the signature for some reason breaks forum coding? That's still an issue then.

Is the code tags correct?

I mean do you have a opening and closing tag.

Is the code in your profile (signature) or in the administration panel (signature separator)?

Profile signature, the center tags break the forum width.

Double check to make sure that there is nothing wrong with the signature. Check in the normal mode, not WYSIWYG mode.

@Rukiafan

Your problem has been read here http://help.forumotion.com/t148429-what-is-going-on#1026023
This thread has nothing to do with your problem.

Your problem is that you are using a Wii U system and it has been reported to our tech team and we have also made a report to Wii its self.

Please Don't keep posting in other members threads you must keep your threads to your 1 problem.

Please Don't reply to this thread as it has nothing to do with your problem.

Your problem is already reported on the link posted.

Thank you and have a nice day.

@Ape actually I'm also experiencing this problem as well on my website, and yes it is a separate issue from the Wii U problem, but a few members have complained about this as well...:/

also a browser info would help to remember if its a wii system then there is nothing we can do right now.

Problem solved by removing any CENTER-ing BBCode tags from forum signatures.

Marking as solved.
