Hello

forumotion backups are automatic as you can read on forumotion.com website thumleft

If you do not have any backup available, maybe it is because your forum is too new :rose:

Hello @Lichang,

As Niko has stated your forum may be too new for backup and is not needed if not then I have print screened the process fo the backup for you as a little help:

1) Go to your founder utilities - http://www.forumotion.com/utils

2) Once logged in select -> BackUp

3) Now select which type of backup you wish to proceed with and your chosen date (All posts previous to that date will be deleted)

4) Once authenticated your forum backup will now proceed, if you get any error messages please read below!

If you'd like a more detailed tutorial then please visit here

If you receive an error message please screenshot/print screen it and upload it here.
Most likely if it is an error message it will be because your forum is new - if not please upload the error message.

Thanks,
ChanelW Wink

@Lichang,

Happy I could help - don't forget to use the 'thanks' button Wink

Just wait about 2+ weeks and you may be able to backup your forum then!

If any other problems occur don't hesitate to inform the support forum Smile

GoodLuck

Thanks,

Hello @lichang

Your forum needs to be 14 to 24 days old before you can do a full backup

having one backup date on your tools will not work right as your need 2 or more backups showing on your tools.

My advice to you is to make sure you leave your site for 3 weeks then look at your tools as the backup system is every 7 to 8 days

my tools tell me your forum is only 3 days old and no backups are open to you at this time sorry.

You should read this tutorial about backups: http://help.forumotion.com/t131122-backup-of-your-forum
