Description of problem

Hello guys

Three days ago I Installed the theme picker script according to this topic of Ange. Everything works perfectly despite the fact that you @SLGray told me "you believe it wouldn't work". in this topic. Razz

There is only one itty bitty problem with the script:

The Theme Picker has two interfaces installed. The default one (named Inuarashi) and the non-default one (named nekomamushi). The problem is that when i change the forum to the non-default version (Nekomamushi) it seems like the forum is first loading the default version (Inuarashi) and then the non-default. As a result, I see the default version loading for some miliseconds and then the non-default version appearing.

Is there maybe a way to disable the default version from loading when a person has chosen the non-default version or some other way to hide it?

it has to grab the css from the url then place it on your site thats why you see the default theme first theirs no way to really do it without the small load time

Hmm. I was afraid something like that would be the problem. But how about putting a "loading screen" or something like this for some milliseconds in order to just hide the loading default topic?

The theme is grabbed from your browser's cookies.

I'll work on this later. I'm going to need a test account though.

@Scarlet D. I haven't been able to get to this. My fault I'll take care of it later today for sure though.

If you can, try to enable the theme picker.

I do not encounter the issue that you are referring to.  The theme changes smoothly.

Hmm that's οdd, maybe you have a very good computer or something. if in any case you didn't understand, the issue is not about changing between the two versions, the issue is roaming the forum with the second version (the dark one). It first shows the default version for some milliseconds and then the dark version. This contrast makes the forum a little unconfortable at the dark version. That's all to it

hum... yeah I figured so. That's why i was asking for a script to hide the forum (like a loading screen) until it's interface gets fully loaded (or to hide the forum interface for some seconds until it hides the light version theme and gets to the dark version theme...)
