Solved Shift Pagination

Post by Valoish on December 3rd 2016, 3:57 pm

I recently shifted the container of topic titles to the left by 36px (margin-left: 36px) to fix and overlap issue we had with the word-wrap on the forum. Now I noticed that the pagination is overlapping the thread titles..

The top is how it is right now, the bottom is how I'd like it to be.

Solved Re: Shift Pagination

Hello,

Try adding to your CSS:

Code:
table.forumline td > span.gensmall:last-child {
  margin-left: 36px;
}

It basically makes a compensation for the topic title position on the pagination. BUT, it's possible that you'll have some problems with status icons next to the title (the poll icon, online icon and so on).

So, if this happens, instead using the code above, in your CSS, search for:

Code:
div.topictitle {
    position: relative;
    left: 36px;
}

And change it to:

Code:
div.topictitle {
    margin-left: 36px;
}

It should fix the overlapping.

Solved Re: Shift Pagination

Post by Valoish on December 5th 2016, 1:07 am

I used before
Code:
div.topictitle {
    margin-left: 36px;
}
And this was the result

So I changed it to
Code:
div.topictitle {
    position: relative;
    left: 36px;
}
And it fixed the text overlap issue but then the pagination started acting up, but now it seems fine? I'm not too sure why it acted up in the first place or how it fixed itself LOL.
