Is it possible to star also topics, not only forums and categories?

Yes you are better off asking in that forum as we don't give support on outside of the support forum.

If you are using tutorials from other forums, it is always best to ask the members on the forum where you see the tutorials.

Yes, it's quite possible to "star" topics, however that would require development of a completely different plugin. Unfortunately I have to apologize, because I wont be the one to develop it as I plan to move on from Forumotion development in the new year. Perhaps someone else who is capable might be able to make your idea come to life in the future.
