Description of problem
I'd like to re-design the footer so it matches the toolbar, header and navigation but I'm not too sure which template I should be editing..If I wanted to create something like this (with 2-3 boxes inside, but I'm sure I can figure that out after):
from this:
which would I have to edit; overall_footer_begin, overall_footer_end, or simple_footer?
Re: Forum Footer Redesign
I almost always work with overall_footer_end, because it tends to work and look much better.
Here is a test for you for how it would look:
Let me know what you think.

Re: Forum Footer Redesign
@Dr Jay Hey Jay~! Was the example footer done on a phpBB2 forum? o;
And could you direct me to which parts I'd need to change in the overall_footer_end template? Or would the entire thing have to be edited? XD

Re: Forum Footer Redesign
Well, there are many specifics to the code and where exactly to place the code... Before I answer... Would you please tell me if the Template has been modified? If it has been modified (which to me, does not, but still), then I would need to see the entire code and give you examples to work with:
=> Responsive (Complete)
=> Material/Responsive (Complete)
=>Incomplete (I see this all the time on FM forums)
=>Complete (not responsive)
=>Plaintext (Incomplete)
=>Simple
=>iFramed (not recommended, especially with the Secure Server Functions coming to FM)
I could easily contact my developers as well to help, if it is an advanced idea. But, with your ability, I think just general examples should suffice (your choice).
As soon as you let me know that info, we can get the ball rolling. (And it's a plus that the forum in question has paid to remove copyrights). Of course, we could easily redo the entire footer... but that involves editing all of the footer code.

hello
To edit the footer, you need to modify two parts overall_footer_begin and overall_footer_end plus a lot of CSS to get everything looking perfect.
keep in mind to add a closing </div> before this
- Code:
<div id="page-footer">
so you can close the wrapper and add the footer outside of it, to the bottom of the page like on the support forum
see my footer as an example http://iconskouliki.forumgreek.com/
Re: Forum Footer Redesign
@skouliki; Thanks for the tip Skouliki! c: I'll start messing with the template a bit in the next few days and see how it goes LOL.
