Description of problem

Hi, everybody! How are you? Smile
I'd like to know how possible it is to align the category/forum description in such a way that it's not that close to the image. Also, it if could be centered in relation to the height of the table cell, it would be great.

Thanks in advance! flower

Hi, there, is it possible you can provide a screenshot of the same thing but only a few maybe arrows or lines showing where you want everything moved?

Hi, Draxion! Hello

It might be the height of the image, but I get the feeling the description text is too close to the image. Also, a central alignment in relation to the image would make it look slightly better.
I'm aware the title's a lot harder to move. But if there were a chance it could be moved and aligned with the description, it would be fantastic!

Thanks for your reply and help!
Have a wonderful Friday! Hug

Try this. This will take trial and error.

Add this to your CSS.
Code:
h3.hierarchy {
    margin-left: 50px;
}

.forum-description {
    margin-left: 50px;
}

div.forum-description > img {
    position: absolute;
    left: 0;
    bottom: 0;
    margin-left: 40px;
    margin-bottom: 5px;
}

Hi, dear Draxion!

Thank you very much, you're so sweet! Very good It worked partially. It did work with all the forum descriptions but one. Possibly because it's an isolated forum with no category.

Please let me escape from my classroom so that I can share a screenshot.

It wouldn't be that difficult if it weren't because I'm the teacher. huhohi

Okay, I see where I did wrong. Replace that CSS with this.

Code:
a.forumtitle {
    margin-left: 80px;
}

.forum-description {
    margin-left: 50px;
}

div.forum-description > img {
    position: absolute;
    left: 0;
    bottom: 0;
    margin-left: 40px;
    margin-bottom: 5px;
}

If you are using Edge by Ange Tuteur, you should have asked on FM Design.

Hello Hi, Draxion! Bow 3

Thanks indeed for your help! It worked like a charm! I just changed the value of the pixels for the forum title, as the indentation was larger than the text description.

Hug Bow 2 I truthfully thank you, Draxion! It was a problem I'd been struggling with issue even before turning my forum into FAE, even though it was PHPBB3 too and the theme it had before wasn't a heavily modified one.
I'll now create the next categories and forums.

You're a peach! Huzzah

You're very welcome and I would take @SLGray advice any time you have other issues with Edge. Post on FMDesign since the owner of the version can assist you better than anyone else could here.
