The great solar eclipse happens today. Are you going to watch it? Did you watch it? What are your thoughts on it?

Where I live was not part of the total eclipse. About 25% of the sun was covered by the moon.

I could not see the eclipse. In my city nothing darkened, it was only in some parts of the country.

I watched it on youtube since I don't live in a total eclipse area and didnt have the glasses. I tried to cheat and use my tablet's camera to see if I could watch it that way, unfortunatelly it was too bright for the mediocre camera and the light overwhelmed it so all you saw was a big ball of light.

So I had to settle with youtube. It was still pretty from there though.

I watched it here even though we only got 60% of it. Can't wait until 2024 when we can see more of it.

I watched it through a projector box, there was only a partial eclipse where I live but it still created some really neat crescent-shaped shadows from the leaves of the trees in the backyard. I also watched NASA's youtube stream.
