When a user enters skype details into their profile and hit save, it doesn't save.

Help!

Please do not post just one word post.

What are they exactly entering in the profile field?

I belive they are enterig their skype account name. I myself have tried entering a variety of words and sentences into it (none of which were rude or bad) and it still didn't save when I pressed save.

the member needs to press SAVE only.

Okay I have been on the test account you gave me and found No problem with adding the skype name in the system.

can you make sure you are putting it in right and not putting a space at the end of the name.

Also what browser are you both using ?

try and use firefox for things like this.

Hmm. That's strange. I went on and viewed to profile and the skype details are no longer there.

Ape probably removed the skype from the account once he completed his tests.

The main thing that Ape was pointing out is that there is no bug with the system. If it is not saving, then you or your member are probably not putting your skype account info in correctly.

No i did not remove the data in entered for my tests and i have just logged in again as a tests gain and its showing fine.

also when i go in the ACP i also see the settings have saved


can you tell me what browsers you are using so i can test it on the same browser?

I am using chrome on my tablet I can try a few different browsers later too.

yes please try firefox as chrome can be a little buggy when it comes to our settings on the profile and on the ACP .
