Solved Avatars out of alignment

Post by jkh on September 19th 2017, 10:03 pm

Is there any reason why the username underneath some avatars are out of alignment on the Home page? It happens on my forum and really irritates me!

Is there a fix for it please?

Hello this is down to the size of the names and dates and icon's not fitting right in the box so the overflow tool moves it down a little to make it all fit in the box.

it has nothing to do with your computer and you your self can not change this it is done our end but as it is not a bug we will not really worry about it as it can still be read fine and nothing is missing.

It's a shame, because it looks very messy and spoils the overall look. Thumb down

Not just this forum Ape, it happens on my forum too. As skouliki will tell you I'm very, very fussy (!) and it's an irritation to me that I can't get my forum to look as perfect as possible!

Hopefully one of your Admin's will come along and sort it out - are you able to ask them?

To change your screen resolution. , clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution. Click the drop-down list next to Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click Apply.
this is mine using laptop /chrome

hi skouliki

Yes, my homepage generally looks ok, but once you get in to the forums it changes and becomes untidy. The only way I've found to sort it out is to stretch my browser - that works for me, but members/guests might not do that so all they see is a forum that looks out of whack. It would be nice if the forum automatically aligns itself somehow.

As you can see from the screenshot, the username that's out of alignment is only a short name, yet the longer names are ok. :/

The dates/times are different in that screenshot.

It's only when the dates are in full that it goes bonkers

Sun 17 Sep 2017 - 16:44
as opposed to
Today at 11:16   - it would be good to be able to change the length of the date perhaps ?

If the date could be changed to 06.09.17 - 6.30 it might solve it ?

I'd already set my date to the shortest possible skouliki, but that doesn't seem to work either.
