In my forum . i have bbcode and html active always . In the past . if I had a need to to change or use the coding I would just click on the wysiwyg Switch Editor Mode . The text would be coded and I could copy it or change it as needed . Lately i have had a need to have to copy coded text to another forum . Not being able to now get my text coded in my website . I have had to use an outside html editor to type my text into , Then click html . Then copy the coded text . And then apply it to the forum I am referring to .
My question is . I thought that in the past i was able to use my forumotion forum as an html editor . Am I wrong ? has something changed ? Am I missing something ?
thanx
Paul

If I am doing it correctly ? I am only getting codes in url's and links . Not basic text .

For Instance . As you can see in the following 4 examples . 2 source mode . 2 normal mode . The only coding is the one paragraph code that i entered manually .

You should be able to enter it in source mode.

It appears as though I acted too soon again . No matter how I post a message created in my forum . It does not have html formatting needed for the other forum . I still need to use an outside html editor to post there . Or enter the codes manually .
Now my question is . Is there a way to make the coding visible in my forum ?

Either way . <p>I could manually enter the bbcodes</p> . Which are simpler codes but hard to do manually . <p>Or I can use an html editor . Which is all inclusive . But either way . It is to avoid the non formatted forum . Which will post all as one run on sentence .&nbsp;</p>

Are you should that you are getting HTML code, not BBCodes? What exactly are copying and pasting?

The Forum that I normally use. Did an update. When they were done they had lost the entire edit bar for all users. The Forum is able to be posted in but there is no formatting at all. So to avoid sentences that all run on together there are a couple ways in which to post separation. 1 is 2 add BB codes as you type. Another would be to type it into an HTML editor to get the whole message coded. Then copy and paste it into that forum. To get a more legible message. It really is a mess and it's been about a week and a half now and they haven't fixed it and I thought for sure that I had visible coding in my formation website. But it doesn't appear that I do. And the invisible automatic formatting that happens in side The Forum is not applicable to this other for rum.

bbcodeing an htlm work together there 2 coding that work together as friends you want the to do basic bbcodeing like

example
Code:
 [CENTER]

or you can source it an highlight placements with a widget or input like bold ect bbcodeing the <p> is a basic place holder when you freshly do a widget box or html box.

on my forum I use alot elements with html an bbcode together as one.
I even do some advanced stuff like a custom cell table htlml code which not exactly easy it take alot hours an time to manually type cell blocks

Anyway that is the forum that lost the edit bar and all formatting . It is an html forum .
So rather than having to use
http://htmleditor.in/firefox-html-editor.html
or
http://htmleditor.in/fulleditor.html
To convert all my text . I want to know if I can use my forum ? But obviously since I only get questions for my questions . I cannot .

On our forums, the editor is very picking about codes.  If the BBCode is not in order, the editor will try to correct it which causes issues.
For Example:
Code:
[center][left][bold]Text[/left][/center][/bold]
It should be:
Code:
[center][left][bold]Text[/bold][/left][/center]

Also our editor does not support all BBCodes.

The screenshot only shows 1 post.

If you are having issues then it could be related to modifications you have done to the forum.

I am not having issues . I only wanted to know if I could use my forum as an html editor . It appears that I am not able to . I will continue using http://htmleditor.in/firefox-html-editor.html .
Thank you

I am sorry, but I am confused. If you want to add HTML codes to your forum, you can, but you have to have HTML activated in the administration panel and in your profile.
