I would like to mention that the tutorial not allow moderators to post has a major flaw. The moderator can simply disable javascript (or that part of the code using browser plugins) to proceed to delete posts. Such permissions should be handled internally through PHP and not javascript. Either that, or it can be paired with a method to not allow users to visit the website without enabling javascript. Cheers.

Hello @masesm,

This tutorial was created for those who simply want this function to work for their moderators. If a member joins the forum and disables the javascripts then it's the Administration's decision whether that member is capable to have Moderation powers to that forum. Since we have no access to PHP this was the best way I could help those members who needed something similar to that. And lastly, if they disable the scripts using those browser plugins then all javascripts are useless. Wink

Sincerely,
Luffy.
