og:image customization for each topics
If there any way to do a customization on og:image meta tag on each topics?
Like blogger will automatically grab the first image on the content as og:image meta content.
It become a problem when sharing difference topic, but all share the same preview picture (which is only the logo) on twitter and Facebook.
I already do a little bit searching and found the similar topic like these two:
https://help.forumotion.com/t153024-posting-links-from-board-to-twitter
https://help.forumotion.com/t141459-add-input-to-enter-featured-image-url-into-posting
It will be helpful if I can just change:
to get the similar function like blogger.
Thank you.

Re: og:image customization for each topics
I can say that if the first post in a topic contains a large image, it should appear on Facebook and Google.
If you share a publication with an image and/or an event with an image, the image will appear in all social media share posts.
If you share a publication with an image and/or an event with an image, the image will appear in all social media share posts.

It do not work this way for me, as far as I can see, all topic regardless have image or not, It always show my Logo only.
Re: og:image customization for each topics
Like I said only on Google and maybe Facebook would it show an image if it is a large image. Others do not, except for publications and events. This is how the share buttons are set up. This also applies to the share links in the share menu above each topic. If it is an image share site, then yes an image only will be shared.
If you want to share content from your forum with images on Twitter, you have to save the images to your computer and upload them to Twitter.

As far as I can tell Facebook do not work in the way you say.SLGray wrote:Like I said only on Google and maybe Facebook would it show an image if it is a large image. Anyway, It's impossible to just change the meta tag and be able to show the image for now?
