Solved Transfering domain name

Good afternoon,
I want to transfer my domain name to an external service, because I want to create a full website where my forum will be a part from.
This is impossible on Forumotion.. For this, I have an idea to let my domain name expire, than buy it from an external service..
What will happen?? Is there any negative effect for my forum & Google archiving?

* Can you let me exceptionaly transfer my domain name to an external service? And how to do it?
