Upload zip files to your forumotion forum
uploading zip files
No, sorry, that's not possible. You'd have to upload your files for example on fileden.com and link to them.
who wants to change it?
Re: uploading zip files
I don't see many advantages to this. There are so many sites out there for stuff like this and they all have advantages depending on what you want and most of the time, if you want to upload here, it probably won't be able to provide you with the same service as the more specialized sites.

Re: uploading zip files
Definitely yes. Why should I have to make my members go to an external site that probably makes them wait for download then spams them with "JOIN FOR PREMIUM SERVICES!!! ONLY 99999.99 A MINUTE! JOIN NOW AND GET UNLIMITED..." and so on, for a file that's only 3mb? And not just zip files, it should be common files.
The only reason I could see them saying no is "virus spreading", but users can scan the files themselves...

Depending on how smart your members are, you won't need to wait to download. And if you do (most likely rapidshare and megaupload), the wait is only 45 seconds.darkwulfv wrote:Definitely yes. And you don't need to join to do a file that's 3MB. It's only if it's over 500MB, and even then some sites don't require you to join and you can upload up to 50GB.
